Healthcare IT provider, Ethitec, has appointed Triangle to launch a media relations campaign promoting its flagship appointment booking and clinical administration system, Tiara9, which is set to become one of the UK’s first software platforms to achieve NHS ‘Choose and Book’ compliance.
The development will open up a cost effective route for healthcare providers to link into the national electronic referral service, which gives patients a choice of place, date and time for their first outpatient appointment in a hospital or clinic.
Commenting on the appointment, Simon Taylor, Managing Director at Ethitec, said: “This is a crucial time for us to communicate Tiara9’s Choose & Book capability, and we are delighted to have Triangle on board to help us do just that. The consultancy has demonstrated a good insight into our sector and will be using their expertise to get the message out to NHS trusts and independent healthcare providers.”
The campaign will target healthcare and IT media, as well as digital channels, to highlight the benefits of the system and the experience of NHS sites already using Tiara9.
Chris Hamer, Managing Director at Triangle PR, comments: “The latest reorganisation in the NHS, combined with the dismantling of the National Programme for IT and the new target to be paperless by 2018, signals renewed impetus to modernise NHS systems. Tiara9 is a great piece of software with a ten year proven track record, and we are delighted to be working with Ethitec to position it as the number one choice for organisations wishing to connect to the Choose and Book service or move to electronic patient records."
