Dementia campaign wins media backing

A local media campaign to promote care village provider, Belong’s ‘Talk Dementia’ drop in sessions has seen an enthusiastic response from the press serving each of Belong’s five villages in the North West. The response echoes the topicality of the subject, currently being discussed on a national level, the fact that dementia is impacting on an increasing number of families in the UK, and the welcome change in attitudes that is encouraging a more open approach to talking about dementia in a positive way. Both print and digital media, including the Warrington Guardian, South Warrington News, Wigan Evening Post, Leigh Reporter and the Crewe Chronicle, gave their backing to the campaign.
